Where is Ink therapy located?

Ink Therapy is located in Thornton Plaza at 2826 Lexington Rd in Athens, Georgia 30605.  Our phone number is 706.354.0950 and we are open Tues-Sat from 3pm to 11pm.

What are the age requirements for tattoos and piercings?

In order to get a tattoo you must be at least 18 years old with a valid ID--no exceptions. No ID, no tattoo. That is the law.

For piercings, you must also be at least 18 with a valid ID--if you are under 18 you may still get pierced, but you need a parental consent form.

What clothing lines do you carry?

Ink Therapy is pleased to carry high-end clothing lines such as Affliction, Sailor Jerry, Fourth World, Drifter, Sullen, Archaic, True Religion, and Xtreme Couture.  We are bringing west coast fashion to the eastern United States.

We also offer an incredible range of hand-selected vintage clothing items from the 1950's through the 1970's.  For more information and to see our current inventory of clothing, please click on the "Vintage Clothing" tab.

Yes. We have a wide array of flash and tattoo magazines for you to look through and help generate ideas. We can also design any custom piece based on a photograph, an internet page, or even an idea that you have. Finally, check out www.tattoofinder.com, www.bullseyetattoos.com, or your favorite tattoo site for ideas...if you can imagine it, we can tattoo it!

How do I care for my tattoo?

Once you've finished getting your tattoo we'll give you a brochure that details step-by-step just how to get the most from your tattoo. It covers healing time, care, and what to expect during the first few weeks.
